I visited the site today, and progress is being made! Today, concrete is being poured on top of the piers drilled last week for what’s called the “pier caps.” These surround the outside of the building and will support the steel shell of the building. Also, the plumbing has been installed underground that will service the youth/community/adult class wing. Concrete work for the parking lot and slab will begin in the next couple of weeks. Here are some pictures!

The concrete has been poured for the base of the tower (facing FM 731).

Electrical service to the building from the road will enter the building through the electrical closet.

This is one of the pier caps that will support the weight of the building.

This is the plumbing that will service the restrooms near the youth area and community room (near the back of the building).

Conduit is being run underground between parking lot lights
